The Orhei branch of CCI, as a subdivision of Chamber of Commerce and
Industry of RM, activates since 15th of December 1999.

Round tables and seminars
In this period took place 4 seminars with the topic: "Practical
aspects of electronic commerce in the Republic of Moldova".
The basic aim of this seminar was to familiarise economic agents with
the concept of E-commerce, as well as to promote the utilization of
electronic communications and electronic contracts in the process
of buying - selling goods and services, including the using of electronic
payment instruments. During the seminar there have been regarded many
practical aspects of elecronic commerce such as: the concept of E-commerce
and E-business, the E-commerce and E-business participants, juridical
aspects of E-commerce, E-banking, digital signature and informational
security. The topics were presented by ASEM and USM professors, as
well as by an expert from Germany - mr. Tuisko Buchmann. 67 economic
agents participated.
During respective period, in all regions there have been organized
5 seminars with the topic "Facilitation of Commerce and Transport
to South-Eastern Europe", during which have been regarded transport
problems and barriers met by economic agents when exporting goods.
There have been also clarified and exposed the conditions of international
goods supply, necessary documents for international transactions and
transport operations. 84 economic agents participated.
On 24.08.2005 in Telenesti took place a seminar with State Agency
for Intellectual Property, with the topic "Protection of Intellectual
Property". 24 participants participated.
On 14.09.2005 was organized the seminar with the topic "Practical
notions regarding the electronic document in RM". At the seminar
were present 28 representatives of banks, public institutions and
business structures.
Regulatory
reform
In this period there were organized 24 round tables in the context
of Implementing the Regulatory reform in Orhei Region, at which over
500 people participated. During the discussions it has been decided
to create in all regions a Unique Window for the releasing of functioning
and construction authorizations and urbanism certificates, that have
the aim to avoid double evidence of documents and bureaucracy, as
well as to reduce the time of receiving those authorizations.
There were provided necessary documents to Bizpro Project in order
to open in Rezina and Telenesti representatives of CCI Orhei branch
a Unique Window for the releasing of functioning and construction
authorizations and urbanism certificates for economic agents. Opening
of this Window is planned for March-April.
Senoir
Experten Service
In this period the branch organised in Orhei and Telenesti districts
3 presentations of German Expert Service Senior Experten Service (SES),
at which participated 50 economic agents. Through SES, German Experts
offer consultancy in various domains to economic agents.
ProAkademia
In August - November period, Orhei branch organized, with the help
of CCI of RM and the Government of Poland, in person of SDG “ProAkademia”
association two courses with the topic "Poland's experience after
1989 and EU agricultural standards" at which participated economic
agents, NGOs, in total number of 68 people. The branch contributed
to the foundation of association of people who activate in agricultural
tourism.
The Moldavian German Partnership Project
in Business
With the support of
this project there were organized in November-December 2 instruction
courses in Orhei and Telenesti for young entrepreneurs, with the topic
"From start with optimal business ideas", which continued
the modules: Marketing - the key of success, legal aspects of entrepreneurship,
business planning and business evidence.
Branch guests
In January Romanian ambassador Mr. Filip Teodorescu visited our branch,
where he had a meeting with regional businessmen in order to promote
the relations among entrepreneurs from both sides of Prut River.
On 09.02.2005 Orhei branch was visited by Belarus delegation. The
visit had the aim to sign Partnership Contracts with representatives
of Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Belarus (Minsk and Gomel),
in order to increase considerably the volume of transactions between
Belarus economic agents and entrepreneurs from Orhei.
On 18.04.2005 Orhei branch hosted a business visit of Baltic States
delegation. The aim of this visit was to promote on Moldavian market
these States' products.
On 21.04.2005 the President of Ukrainian CCI Mr. Scripcenco S. P.
together with business people delegation visited Orhei branch. Aim
of visit: increasing the volume of transactions between economic agents
from Orhei and Ukrainian businessmen.
During the period 28.05.05-01.06.05 Orhei branch of CCI hosted a delegation
of Poland business people. In 2004 there was signed an agreement of
collaboration with Pobianicki powiat. As a consequence, two economic
agents from our region: SA „Pivnitele din Branesti” and „Samarvin”
LTD, have business relations with this powiat, that gives them access
to Poland market.
On 09.10.2005 our branch met the delegation of Ukrainian CCI administration
and 7 presidents of Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry of
this country, who were invited as honorable guests at Wine Festival
in Orhei.
On 13.10.2005 the branch hosted the president of Chamber of Commerce
and Industry from Leipzig region and first secretary of German Embassy
in RM. At the meeting were discussed issues related to the collaboration
of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Moldavian ones, problems
related to the adaptation and passing to EU standards, which would
give the possibility to easier and more efficiently collaborate with
Moldavian economic agents.
During Moldavian-Belarus forum, from 14.10.2005, Orhei branch was
visited by the Belarus delegation, where a lot of issues related to
import-export collaboration between our countries was discussed.

“The Best Entrepreneur – 2005”, Telenesti.

On 17th of April 2005 in Orhei was organized the exposition: "The
Best Entrepreneur - 2004", Orhei, where 76 entrepreneurs
participated.

36 participants were awarded with diplomas and prizes.
On 21.01.2005 in Rezina was organized the competition "The
Best Entrepreneur - 2004", Rezina, at which participated
63 entrepreneurs from Rezina and Soldanesti regions.

On 14th of April 2005 Regional Council Telenesti and CCI Orhei organized
the festivity "The Best Entrepreneur – 2004”, Telenesti.
The best entrepreneur and the best exporter of 2004 as well as
the highest prize - GRAND PRIX, were received by „Intreprinderea
de Stat pentru Silvicultura”.
52 enterprises participated at the competition, 24 out of which
were awarded as winners.
The Wine Festival
On 8th of October 2006, CCI Orhei branch organized the wine festival
in districts Orhei, Telenesti, Rezina and Soldanesti. During this
festival there was also organized a competition for the best home-made
wine "Golden Barrel" at which participated
85 kinds of wine.

In this period, the Orhei branch contributed to the subscription of
122 enterprises and institutions for CCI newspaper "Dezvoltarea".
Information about branch's activity is presented in this newspaper.
In local publications ("Plaiul Orheian", "Cuvintul",
"Morol Info", "Farul Nistrean" and others) our
branch presented 27 materials regarding its activity. Also in these
publications Orhei branch permanently advertises its services.

Staff achievements
As part of celebrating the day of the RM Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
the 2nd Spartakiade of CCI workers was conducted.
Orhei branch team won the 1st place in this competiotion.
